Royals Stadium

John's team sold enough Royals tickets to be able to play one game at the stadium. He played his Dad's team which was fun to watch. That's only happened one other time. John's family was there along with Evelyn and me. She had so much fun with cousins Claire & Kylan. It was a beautiful day at the ballpark!

BFF

Evelyn just loves her best friends, Cassie & Nora. They are 3 peas in a pod. I think she looks so grown up in this picture!!

Deck Pictures

So, I realized that I never posted pictures of the deck that John built for us last summer. It was a big project and he did a great job. (With some help some good frieds and family!) We started with a "Monkey Tail" as we liked to refer to it. Just stairs coming off the back of the house. We now have a 2 tier deck with a patio below. We are very anxious to be able to use it this summer!!

Easter #2

After a fun morning with Cassie & Nora, we had all of the family over for dinner and another egg hunt for the kiddos. Evelyn loved playing with cousins Claire, Kylan & Connor.

Easter #1

We had our neighbors over on Easter morning for an egg hunt with Evelyn, Cassie & Nora. The girls had lots of fun. Evelyn caught on to finding the eggs and putting them in her basket pretty quickly. She is all about chocolate now - she loves her chocolate bunnies that she got in her basket.

Playing at the Kitchen Table

Evelyn is very independent and feels that she needs to sit in the "big" chairs at the table. Just some pics of her goofing around.

First Try with Makeup

Evelyn loves to sit on the counter while mom puts on her make up each day. She always pretends to put it on after I do but she actually got ahold of the eyeliner the other day and tried to put it on her eyes. The results are shown here. We have some work to do!!
