Funny Story

So we have taught Evelyn her middle name and she is pretty good at saying "Evelyn Audry". So, the other day, I thought it would be a good idea to start teaching her her last name. I said "Evelyn, can you say your last name, can you say "McDonald"? She looked at me and said "Happy Meal!!!" I started to crack up and said, "No sweetie, your last name is McDonald. Can you say McDonald?" Her response... "French Fries". Yep, needless to day, she has had her share of happy meals & fries. Sad... :)

Swim Like Fish

Since we took our little trip to Omaha last month and got to swim in the hotel pool, Evelyn has wanted to "swim" in the bathtub at bath time. Here she is showing off her actually pretty good swim skills along with some other cute shots.

TV Time

Evelyn had some down time the other day and was able to eat her snack on the couch while watching Blue Clue's. She is getting so grown up.

TuTu Party

My co-worker had a b-day party for her 3 year old daughter and Evelyn got to attend. She made tutu's for all of the kids and they got to dance, have cupcakes and help open presents. Evelyn took it all in and had a great time. She looked so cute in her tiny tutu!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

John's b-day was last weekend and I had a wonderful helper in the kitchen to make breakfast. Evelyn loves to mix and did a great job. (A little too good sometimes with food flying out of the bowl!) Daddy thought she did a wonderful job. We practiced saying happy birthday but she can just get out "Appy Day!"

Omaha

We decided to take a little get away to lovely Omaha over Valentines Weekend. It was fun to just get away and we heard that the zoo there was wonderful so wanted to take Evelyn to see that. Although it snowed, we still had fun since they had a lot of indoor exhibits. Of course, the batteries in our camera died right before we went to the zoo so we got no pics. Bummer!! These were the only ones we captured - in the car with her teddy. Oh well, we'll have the memories!

Day in the Park

With the nice weather recently, Evelyn got to play at the park by our house. Sliding, swinging and running around - all of her favorite things!
