Sweet Face

Just some cute pics of the girl. She is getting so big. She can now say a variety of animal sounds. Cow, horse, dog, cat, sheep and even an owl. Today she learned what a monkey says and went around all morning saying "oh,oh,oh". She loves to bring us our shoes to indicate that she is ready for us to take her outside. She will now tell us "bye" and walk out of the room like she is going somewhere. Too funny.

First Royals Game

We took Nana & Bumpa to a Royals game for a belated Father's Day present. Evelyn went too and had so much fun. We were a little worried that it would be too overwhelming and that she would just want to run around the whole time but we were wrong! When people started clapping and cheering, she started clapping right along with everyone and yelling. So funny. She sat on our laps and took everything in. She even got to share part of Mama's hot dog. Official baseball fan!

Happy 4th of July!

We got to hang out with Nana & Bumpa & zoe, Kevin & Connor during the day. Had a nice lunch and then off to the pool for the kiddos. Aunt Zoe saved the day with snacks. They both tore into them! Had dinner with Mimi, Pop & the rest of John's family. Cute pic of Evelyn with Mimi & cousin Claire.

Into everything

Evelyn loves to open the drawers and pull everything out. Repeat...Repeat...Repeat! I love the one of her on her tip toes!

I have a purse like Mommy

John captured a moment of Evelyn trying to be like Mommy. She has a little container that she uses as a purse. She would put it on her arm and carry it around like I carry my purse. She looks like such a little lady. I love it!

Table & Chairs

Evelyn got a table & chair set from Mimi & Pop for her birthday. She loves to sit in her "big girl" chair. Although she now likes to try to stand on the chair. She is afraid of nothing!!!

Party Hat

Evelyn was invited to Cassie & Nora's 3rd b-day party last week but could not attend due to a high fever. She had a temp of over 102 for 2 days. Needless to say we had a pretty grumpy girl for a while. (All better now - no worries) But, the girls gave her a party hat and she wore it for quite a while. She also got a balloon that she loves to hit!

Outside Time

Evelyn LOVES to go outside. She gets to spend a lot of time playing in her pool or water table.
